As with many comedians in on our website, Duggie Brown appeared on the Granada TV’s The Comedians. He has a sister, actor and singer Lynne Perrie.
Originally a cabaret artist, since the early 70’s his career moved swiftly on to television and film and he appeared on ‘The good Old days’ between 1971 and 1980. Before this, he was cast as a milkman in Ken Loach’s movie ‘Kes’ in 1969. Lynne perries, (his sister) also featured in the film.

He is also no stranger to theatre and played ‘The fool’ in ‘King Lear for the northern theatre Company. He began a role as mr boo in ‘Little Voice’ in 2013.
