“Formed form the remnants of Funkee Jungle, Roger Cartwright (lead Vocals /Guitar) Alan Pill (Bass/vocals) and Mike Beck (Drums) and Kiss of the Gypsy members -Tony Mitchell (lead Vocals /Guitar) and George Williams (keys/vocals) in the summer of 1993, with a view to doing Black Crowes/Lenny Kravitz type rock and covers.
First debuted at the Star (Blackpool) and went on to play at local well known pubs like The Royal Oak (Blackpool) and The Belle Vue (Blackpool) over the next few years building up a massive following, packing out all the venues.
Alan Pill left in 1995 and was replaced by Norman ‘Norm ‘Helm.
Over time they began to play more chart rock stuff and a lot of U2. This lead to regular residencies at The ICI club in Thornton, The Kings Bar and Durban in Cleveleys, Brannigans etc. just to name a few.
Roger left in 1997 and was replaced on lead guitar by Tim Bradley .
The band folded briefly and then reformed in 1999 with Tony, Roger, Alan , Mike and Jimmy Thomas on dual lead guitar. This lasted almost 12 months when it was decided to call time on it after 7 years!
Having had great success and being linked with the U2 material in the bands sets Tony, Roger, Mike and George briefly formed a U2 tribute band in 99 called Zoo2.”
